The flute choir Toot-in-Common was founded by State College flutist Judy Moore, who is also the ensemble’s director, in 2006. The group’s repertoire includes popular and classical favorites that were composed or subsequently arranged for flute choir. The ensemble ranges from eight to fourteen flutists, including piccolo and C flutes as well as alto, bass, and contrabass flutes. Toot-in-Common offers semi-annual concerts and has also performed for Bellefonte Victorian Christmas, First Night State College, nursing homes, and community events.
